Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi (abbreviated IIT BHU) is a public engineering institution located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Founded in 1919 as the Banaras Engineering College, it became the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University in 1968. IIT BHU Varanasi has 14 departments and three inter-disciplinary schools. Admission to IIT BHU is entirely based on the ranks obtained in JEE Advanced, GATE or GPAT. IIT BHU has collaborated with University of Cambridge (UK), University of Oxford (UK), University of Sheffield (UK). It provides Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral programs in Engineering and Pharmacy.

Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith

Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith is a Public University located in Varanasi or Benaras, Uttar Pradesh, India. Established in 1921 as Kashi Vidyapith and later renamed, it is administered under the state legislature of the government of Uttar Pradesh. The university has more than 350+ affiliated colleges spread over six Districts(Varanasi, Chandauli, Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Ballia). It is one of the largest State Universities in Uttar Pradesh, with hundreds of thousands of students, both rural and urban. Kashi Naresh Government PG College

The Kashi Naresh Govt. P. G. College, Gyanpur was established in 1951 by the state government of Uttar Pradesh as one of the pioneering institutes of higher learning with vision of providing access to the students of rural and under developed areas to higher education with an aim of providing high quality education at their doorsteps at minimal economic cost through optimal utilization of available resources. Banaras Hindu University

Banaras Hindu University is an internationally reputed temple of learning, situated in the holy city of Varanasi. This Creative and innovative university was founded by the great nationalist leader, Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, in 1916 with cooperation of great personalities like Dr Annie Besant, who viewed it as the University of India. Banaras Hindu University was created under the Parliamentary legislation - B.H.U. Act 1915. The area of the main campus of this premiere Central University is 1300 acres, having well maintained roads, extensive greenery, a temple, an air strip and buildings which are an architectural delight. The Air Field of the campus was started for military training for flying during the second world war.

University of Rajasthan

Rajasthan University was established in 1947 and was formerly known as Rajputana University. It is one of the oldest university in Rajasthan. The University is a complete hub of Higher Education in Rajasthan and attracts students from all over Rajasthan, other parts of India and also from abroad. Uniraj has nine faculty, 37 departments, 18 research centres, and 546 affiliated colleges. The departments of Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Philosophy have been awarded the status of UGC Centre for Advanced Studies. Uniraj has been recognised by UGC as the University with Potential Excellence (UPE) amongst the top 15 Indian Universities with Potential of Excellence in 2012. Maruti Suzuki India Limited, formerly known as Maruti Udyog Limited, is an automobile manufacturer in India. It is a 56.21% owned subsidiary of the Japanese car and motorcycle manufacturer Suzuki Motor Corporation.[7] As of July 2018, it had a market share of 53% of the Indian passenger car market.[8][9] Maruti Suzuki manufactures and sells popular cars such as the Ciaz, Ertiga, Wagon R, Alto K10 and Alto 800, Swift, Celerio, Swift Dzire, Baleno, Omni, Eeco, Ignis, S-Cross, Vitara Brezza and newly launched S-Presso small SUV. The company is headquartered at New Delhi.[2] In May 2015, the company produced its fifteen millionth vehicle in India, a Swift Dzire.

State Bank of India

State Bank of India was incorporated on July 01, 1955. The Government of India nationalized the Imperial Bank of India in the year 1955, with the Reserve Bank of India taking a 60% stake, and name was changed to State Bank of India. State Bank of India (SBI) is the largest state-owned banking and financial services company in India. The bank provides banking services to the customer. In addition to the banking services, the bank through its subsidiaries, provides a range of financial services, which include life insurance, merchant banking, mutual funds, credit card, factoring, security trading, pension fund management and primary dealership in the money market.

Bharat Heavy Electricals

BHEL was established in 1964 ushering in the indigenous Heavy Electrical Equipment industry in India. Heavy Electricals (India) Limited was merged with BHEL in 1974.[6] In 1991, BHEL was converted into a public limited company. Over time, it developed the capability to produce a variety of electrical, electronic and mechanical equipments for all sectors, including transmission, transportation, oil and gas and other allied industries.[6] However, the bulk of the revenue of the company is derived from sale of equipment for power generation such as turbines, boilers, etc. As of 2017, BHEL supplied equipment contributed to about 55% of the total installed power generation capacity of India.[7] The company has also supplied thousands of Electric Locomotives to Indian Railway,[6] as well as defence equipment such as the Super Rapid Gun Mount (SRGM) naval guns manufactured in partnership with the Indian Ordnance Factories [8] and Defence Simulators to the Indian Armed Forces.

Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University

Established in 1999, U.P. Rajarshi Tandon Open University is located in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. Formed under U.P University Act 1999, the university is approved by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC). NTPC Limited, formerly known as National Thermal Power Corporation Limited, is an Indian Public Sector Undertaking, engaged in the business of generation of electricity and allied activities. Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University

Purvanchal University, Jaunpur renamed as Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University in the honour of late Shri Veer Bahadur Singh, former Chief Minister of the state, was established on 2nd October 1987 as an affiliating university under U.P. state university act 1973. Continuous qualitative and quantitative growth, excellence in academic and administrative activities, transparent and efficient academic administration have been some of the distinct characteristics on the basis of which the university emerged as one among the leading universities.
